A Study in Realistic Trauma Through Silicone and Alcohol-Based Paints

This portfolio piece demonstrates my proficiency in creating classic silicone prosthetics, specifically a realistic zombie bite. This project showcases my ability to sculpt, mold, and paint convincing trauma effects using professional-grade silicone and alcohol-based palettes. A staple of special effects makeup, this zombie bite highlights my understanding of anatomical detail and my ability to create believable wounds.

Creating a convincing zombie bite presented several technical and artistic challenges. Sculpting realistic torn flesh and bite marks required a keen understanding of anatomy and trauma effects. Achieving a seamless blend between the silicone prosthetic and the surrounding skin demanded precise molding and edge blending techniques.
